Why not go full DPV and get the .50 cal, the grenade launcher and TOW missiles?

Because the TOW launchers are a pain to reload.

I figured you just tossed the tube away after firing.

If I could have one here, in Colorado, I would drive it year round. I would probably end up single, but damn it would be fun.

Fine, the Nomad is faster and more fun, at least from a driving perspective. Plus the Nomad is much cheaper to purchase and run. There is no need to spend $400 on tax stamps and 10's of thousands of dollars for .50's plus $100k+ in annual ammo bills.

You're tougher than me if you'd drive one of those in the winter. I'd rock it as a DD in the summer, but not winter.

For sure, the Nomad looks like a hell of a lot of fun, and the smaller size would be a real benefit.

As long as all you are covered properly to avoid the drafts going up every opening, it shouldn't be too bad. Think of it as a snowmobile with a role cage and 4 wheels :)

My good god that thing is awesome! It looks like the RC car that we all played with when we were kids but blown up into adult size! I need it!

I hate to ask, but what's the price on one of those?

According to bbc.com it starts around £30,000. I doubt it has been federalized yet, but they did eventually bring over the Atom so we may see it in the U.S. eventually.

It is the RC brought to life just like you always wanted.
